Chateau Kopsa is one of the few family wineries in Bulgaria, which covers the entire process of making wine - grows grapes for their own wine, produces in its own winery and bottles in its cellar. Each wine-making bunch is picked by hand in the early morning hours of the day. No more than 30 minutes separate the freshly picked and selected grapes from the vineyards to the winery, which guarantees the freshness and unchanged quality characteristics of the raw wine. The family winery means control and responsibility from the creation of the raw material - grapes during all stages of wine production, laboratory research and bottling of the finished product.

Chateau Copsa's own vineyards are 50 hectares, located in the heart of the Rose Valley. This wine micro region, nestled between the southern slope of Stara Planina and Sredna Gora, is extremely favorable for the cultivation of high quality white wines. The intense aromas of the rose massifs and lavender fields, the constant movement of air masses, the mild climate provided by the two mountains surrounding the valley, all contribute to the unique terroir of the region and as a result to the unique wine.

Tasting of limited white wines of Chateau Kopsa

1. AXL Rose valley Misket from the Rose Valley - shows the best characteristics of this unique Bulgarian grape variety
2. Chardonnay Single Vineyard - a white wine created from our Chardonnay vineyards that is not aged in oak and shows freshness, lightness and pleasure to consume
3. Sauvignon Blanc Single Vineyard - a white wine with exceptional characteristics of freshness and aroma. With a light body and a balanced taste
4. Château Copsa Cuvée Rouge - white, blended wine from the white varieties of our vineyards

The tasting is accompanied by a platter of traditional Bulgarian cheeses and yellow cheese from a local producer and selected meat delicacies prepared according to Chateau Kopsa's recipe.

Tasting of limited edition red wines of Chateau Kopsa

1. Stradivarius Rouge - red wine resulting from the blending of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties
2. 8TH Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon - wine with intense aromas and taste of ripe black fruits mixed with elegant notes of dark chocolate
3. 5VE Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc - the taste is fascinating, dominated by black forest fruits - blackberries and blueberries, pleasantly combined with accents of dark chocolate and ground pepper
4. Château Copsa Cuvée Rouge - a wine that our winery is proud of, a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties

The tasting is accompanied by a platter of traditional Bulgarian cheeses and yellow cheese from a local producer and selected meat delicacies prepared according to Chateau Kopsa's recipe.

1. Stradivarius Blanc – white, blended wine with intense aromas created from the Red Karlovy Vary Misket and Muscat varieties
2. Château Copsa Cuvée Blanc - white wine created by blending the white varieties of our vineyards
3. Angelica Rosé – rosé created from the Cabernet Sauvignon variety with a fine aroma of pomegranate, strawberry, raspberry and wild berries. This wine was awarded a prize at the international exhibition International Wine Challenge and a silver medal at the Winery 2018.
4. Stradivarius Rouge - red wine resulting from the blending of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. Fine notes of black fruits, blue plum and dark chocolate can be detected
5. Château Copsa Cuvée Rouge - a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties. Elegant aroma of ripe black and red fruits
